Depending on the features you use, SmartRoda may collect:

• Vehicle information, mileage and odometer records.
• Service and maintenance records, fuel and vehicle expense records.
• Road tax and insurance information.
• Vehicle and odometer images you upload.
• Subscription and purchase information.
• Device information required for notifications and app functionality.
• Application diagnostics and performance information, where applicable.
• Information you submit to SmartRoda AI or include in support requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to create and manage accounts; manage vehicles and vehicle records; provide service, road tax and insurance reminders and notifications; verify subscription entitlements; and provide SmartRoda AI where available. We also use information for security, troubleshooting and application improvement.

4. SmartRoda AI

Relevant information submitted to or requested through AI features may be processed to generate responses. This may include your questions, relevant vehicle records and uploaded images, depending on the feature. Information may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. Avoid submitting sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

5. Data Sharing

SmartRoda does not sell users' personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required for application functionality, such as hosting, authentication, notifications, analytics, crash diagnostics, subscription/payment processing and AI services, where applicable.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or address security issues. If you use vehicle or family sharing features, information may be made available to the people you authorise.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained as necessary to provide the service and meet applicable legal, security, accounting and regulatory requirements. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is needed.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by following the instructions on our Delete Your SmartRoda Account page. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, transaction, accounting or regulatory purposes.

SmartRoda may use third-party services to provide the features described above. Their processing of information is subject to their applicable privacy policies and terms. External websites linked from SmartRoda have their own privacy practices.

SmartRoda is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not specifically designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.
